Plateau Assembly Aspirant Vows To Work For Restoration Of Peace

of Assembly hopeful who is vying the seat for the Jos North-North, under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Muhammad Safiu Yau has assured he would work for permanent peace in the constituency if elected in 2023 election.
Speaking exclusively to New Nigerian Newspapers in Jos, the aspirant said he has mapped out plans for the restoration of peace in the fragile state.
  ” The problem of insecurity including lack of mutual respect among diverse ethnic groups needs to be redefined by candidates who are interested in knowing more about the issue”
On the issue of integrating of the neighborhood watch and other security personnel for the restoration of peace in the constituency, the aspirant explained that he will coordinate their responsibility for peace.


He said there is an urgent need for progressive minded individuals in the constituency to wake up and give dividends of democracy to the people,


According to him, Jos North Local Government Area had the problems of youths restiveness and empowerment issues that require a serious lawmaker to confront the situation by providing purposeful leadership.


 Alhaji Muhammad Safiu said, ” I very much enjoy the support of the people from the constituency who want change from the current situation”.


  He urged the electorate of the area to ensure that they all acquire voters card as the only thing that would make them excercise their responsibility or franchise  in the elections

 Commenting on the national executive officers of the APC, the politician said the former acting Chairman had done wonderfully well in the amicable resolution of disputes in the party.
