The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has pledged his resolve to create more job opportunities for unemployed youth in the state if elected in 2023.
The Governorship hopeful made the pledge while commissioning the Generation Next campaign office in Pankshin, donated by Nentawe’s Ambassadors in Pankshin ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Dr. Nentawe was accompanied to the event by the Executive Chairman of Pankshin Local Government Council, Audu Kak’mena, member representing Pankshin North at the State Assembly, Philip Dasun and the Deputy Majority Leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly and member representing Kanke Constituency, Wallok Goma.
On his entourage were also some notable members of the All Progressives Congress among whom were, Rt Hon Emmanuel Go’ar, APC Chairman of Pankshin Local Government Area, Tanimu Shikmut, Education Secretary of Pankshin, Timothy Bodang among others.
The governorship candidate thanked the Nentawe’s Ambassadors for donating the campaign office, a gesture he described as a sign of victory ahead of the 2023 elections.
Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda promised to place priority on the educational development and youth empowerment of his people.
He said youth are the bedrock for any meaningful development, hence the need to accord them all attention they deserve.
‘ I am running for the seat, not for myself, but to serve the entire people of the state as well bring development that would change the narrative of our dear Plateau to the envy of foreign investors.
Chairman, Pankshin Local Government Council Audu Kak’mena, appealed to all members of the party and electorate to give the candidate their mandate, owing to his credibility and concern for the Plateau.
The local government chairman also explained that the governorship candidate of APC has positively distinguished himself in many ways and has displayed capacity, competence, and experience that has proven that if given the mandate, will be beneficial to the Plateau man.
Earlier, the Coordinator Generation-Next in Pankshin and former Leader of the Pankshin Local Government Legislative Arm, Data Sendi promised to go ward to ward, by following and attracting numerous supporters and followers to support the APC’s governorship candidate to win the forthcoming election in the state, stressing that Dr. Nentawe is the most suitable candidate to govern Plateau State.
Data Sendi explained that as Nentawe’s Ambassadors their target is to mobilize voters for the victory of the APC gubernatorial candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and his running mate, Pam Bot-mang in the 2023 governorship election.
