As part of efforts to reposition the Kaduna Basic Education Accountability Mechanism (KADBEAM) for more efficiency and clear direction, the Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria (PLANE), has supported the mechanism to develop a five-year strategic plan.
The 5 years plan, according to Ahmed Baba Jibril, Reform Facilitator, PLANE Programme in Kaduna State, is strategic to guiding the mechanism’s future operations.
Ahmed, who spoke in Zaria on Thursday at the end of the strategic plan development workshop, noted that the ultimate goal of the plan is to ensure that KADBEAM’s activities are strategically focused.
“The key objectives of the workshop were to review the current operational framework, identify areas requiring improvement, and align the mechanism’s goals.
“The workshop also aimed to engage KADBEAM members in discussing challenges and opportunities, setting clear priorities, and formulating robust strategic plan to enhance the efficiency of KADBEAM.” He added.
In his appreciation message to PLANE, Aliyu Ahmed Tijjani, Co-chair of KADBEAM, said “I am particularly grateful to PLANE program for sharing in our dream and providing the needed technical and logistic support.”
Tijjani, noted that for any organization desirous of growth and prosperity, planning is key.
“It is therefore, not surprising that KADBEAM decided to take time out of member’s tight schedules to engage in the process of producing this all important document ‘KADBEAM 5 years strategic plan.
“While commending the sacrifice of members, it is my hope that the anticipated document will strengthens KADBEAM as a corporate entity.”
He therefore, commended the facilitator for displaying facilitation expertise, making the process engaging and insightful.
