PANS honour Nda Isaiah

The Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian  Students (PANS) Ahamdu  Bello  University, Zaria  had  honoured  Pharm. Sam  Nda  Isaiah,  Chairman and Chief  Executive  of  Leadership  Newspapers  at its  annual  symposium  and  magazine  lunching    held  at the  Faculty  of  Pharmaceutical   Science  at the  week end.
Speaking at the occasion, Nda   Isaiah asserted that  herbal  drug  is  contributing  towards  development  of national  economy  through  entrepreneurship.
He  said,  any  business  that  doesn’t  start   small  was  not  going to succeed  and  nothing  is  impossible once  there is  hope  and  commitment  towards  actualizing  the   mission.
Nda  Isaiah charged students of phamarcy to  start   thinking  on how  to be   self   reliant  right  from  their  early stage  in the  University .
He  expressed  his  appreciation for the  honour done him, which  he said  comes  unexpected  to him  but thanked God for the  recognition
Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion  Dr.  Ahmed  Tijjani Mora, the Wakilin Maganin Zazzau, said  the  sole  essence of  knowledge  is  to solve  exisiting   societal  problem  which  clearly   reveals  that knowledge  acquired  through  any  profession  must  have  a  positive  impact  on the  society.
Mora  said,  the  challenges in the  pharmacy profession  in Nigeria is inevitable to any  society  and  impossible  to be addressed  completely, but  it  could be reduced greatly to the minimal level.
According  to  him, in every  profession,  there  are  a lot of  quacks  whom  one  can’t  avoid completely because  of the  high  levels of  pervert  in the Country  which  made  people  to  go  for  substandard.
In his  remarks, the  Deen  Faculty of  Pharmaceutical Sciences  Professor  Umar  Usman  Pateh  commended  the  students for  maintaining  the annual events  which always  attract   many  personalities.
Professor  Pateh  said all  what  they  realized during the  lunching  would be  used  to  execute    some  projects  beneficial  to the  Faculty.
The  theme  of the  symposium  is  “Pharmacy  and  entrepreneurship in a challenging world”.
