Speaking at the flag off of the Comrade Jadesola Ajibola and her team, “The Patriots” campaign at the Oyo State ,NUJ Press Centre. the former NUJ Chairman said there should be no basis for campaign of calumny.
Comrade Ayoade pointed out that the campaign should be on how to lift the association to greater heights and not on maligning the image and personality of an individual
Commending the incumbent Oyo NAWOJ Chairperson for her achievement in office in the last three years, the former NUJ Chairman urged her to remain focus and do more when elected for the second term in office.
He stressed that there is no doubt in the fact that Comrade Jadesola Ajibola has a lot of achievements to her administration’s credit in her first term in office.
Speaking, the Oyo State Board Chairman, Community Social Development Agency, Honourable Babatunde Esuola said the Oyo state NAWOJ Chairperson major achievements in her first term in speaks for itself both in the state and in the association..
He maintained that with the achievements of Comrade Ajibola led administration in three years on the saddle as the NAWOJ Chairperson Oyo State, she deserved another tenure to take the association to greater heights.
Representative of FOMWAN, Alhaja Airat Ogungbenro, in her remarks said The Patriots team comprised of women that are ready to work for the course of women and children.
Secretary of the Patriots Campaign Committee , Yejide Ogundare said the team is made of female journalists who are ready to sacrifice anything to touch the lives of humanity and have a better united NAWOJ.
