All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao on Monday, hinted of his readiness to pick the gubernatorial expression of Interest and nomination form.
Engineer Alao dropped this hint at a meeting with his zonal and 33 local government coordinators in Oyo State, at his campaign headquarters in Ibadan.
The APC governorship aspirant who lauded the presence and support so far of the coordinators, assured them of his resolve to contest the primary and appealed to them to see other aspirants and their supporters as comrades and be reminded that they are all in the same party.
The meeting was convened to assess the readiness of his mobilizers for the forthcoming primary of the party slated for Wednesday, 18th May, 2022.
The coordinators who took turns to talk, expressed readiness to mobilize for the delegates congress or direct primary of the party, urging Engineer Alao, to without any delay, pick the gubernatorial expression of interest and nomination forms.
However, the Media Office of the APC chieftain, has condemned the continuous vandalization of campaign bill boards of Engineer Alao within Ibadanland and other parts of the state.
The media office in a statement accused members and supporters of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of being behind the act and that members and supporters of APC in the state are subjected to harassment, molestation and intimidation, noting that the thugs are daily descending on members of the public who choose to associate or put on anything with the logo of APC.
