No fewer than 40 persons with a Peugeot J5 loaded with grains perished, when a ferry boat capsized in River Benue at IbI Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Eye witnesses told New Nigerian that the people fell off board, because of the reduction in the price of the ferry
Corpses are still being evacuated from the river as at the time of filling this report.
Many victims from Ibi town mostly women and children victims, were buried according to Islamic rights.
