The executive chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council, Honourable Ado Tambai Kwa has assured that Islamic and Western education would continue to receive special consideration under his administration.
He made this known when making payments to the institutions for students he sponsored from his domain, studying at various schools.
He assured that the sponsorship would be a continuous programme.
Ado Tambai Kwa added that “Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council considers education as a tool that facilitates livelihood, “that is why we always open more windows of opportunities to ensure that the sector gets a boost at both Islamic and Western education,”. he stated.
The chairman lamented that his administration would continue sponsoring students to under go various courses across the country, especially at present when the globe is gradually advancing in technology.
In conclusion, Ado Tambai Kwa thanked the representatives of the schools for being punctual about giving quality education to the young generations and charged the students to concentrate on their studies to benefit from the sponsorship.
Other speakers at the event include the council’s Speaker, Malam Garba Mudi, the Director Personnel Management (DPM), Malam Magaji Shehu Albasu and the representatives of the institutions that were paid.
