The Chairman of Badume Market Fire Inferno, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Umar has announced that his committee would work selflessly in order to bring a lasting solution to end incessant fire outbreaks at the market.
He stated this in an interview with our correspondent, during the committee’s sitting at Badume, adding that they would submit a very comprehensive report to the local council for further action that can provide solution to fire outbreaks at Badume Market.
Alhaji Idris Mohammed disclosed that Bichi Local Government Council, under the leadership of Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo is making efforts to bring more dividends of democracy to promote peace, unity and progress across 11 wards that make the domain.
He commended his Royal Highness, the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero for his concerns over the incident and thanked the Kano State Emergency Relief Agency (SEMA) for donating items to the families of those who lost their lives during the incident.
Alhaji Idris Mohammed who is also the Vice Chairman of Bichi Local Government Council disclosed that his committee welcomes any advice, comment or suggestion that would assist in providing solution to end fire outbreaks in Badume Market and other commercial areas across the local government area.
