Osun 2022: Court Remands Two Persons In Correctional Custody For Destroying PDP Guber Posters

An Osun State Magistrate Court sitting in Iree, on Tuesday, remanded  two people at Ilesa Prison for destroying the posters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial hopeful in the state, Omooba Dotun Babayemi. The two people, Waheed Okunola (aka Omo Ola) and Jimoh Azeez (aka Sake), were reportedly caught while destroying and vandalizing posters of the PDP governorship hopeful said to be worth over N100,000.
Upon being apprehended, Okunola and Azeez were said to have been handed over to the Divisional Police Office where they reportedly admitted to committing the offence, prompting the Police to charge them to the Magistrate Court.
At the arrangement of the two persons, Magistrate Olugbenga Oladoke frowned at the act which he said was capable of breaching the peace of the area
Magistrate Oladoke then ordered that they be remanded at Ilesa Correctional Centre custody till Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
