Acting President Yemi Osinbajo Wednesday held a closed door meeting  with former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Emir of Kano, Mohammed Sanusi II at the presidential villa, Abuja.
Emir Sanusi did not speak to State House Correspondents who approached him after the meeting.
He said “you can just report that I came to the Villa.”
Although official reasons were not given on why the Royal Father visited, Sanusi may have come to further his ideas on how best the economy would be run to get the country out of the current recession.
The former CBN governor have been critical of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government for lacking in policies that can transform the country.
Emir Sanusi also criticised the federal government over its plan to secure a  $30billion ‎foreign loan.
