Ooni loses 104 year old grandmother

The paternal grandmother of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi,(Ojaja II),  Olori Mariani Adeyemi Ogunwusi is dead.
Aged 104,the late Olori Mariani Ogunwusi popularly called Iya Alaso was survived by her only surviving son who is the father of Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Prince Oluropo Ogunwusi and twelve grandchildren, having earlier lost her second child Late Prince Isaac Olufemi Ogunwusi and her husband Prince Olaobaju Joseph Ogunwusi in 1995 and 1998 respectively.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, Comrade Yera Olafare, the late Olori Ogunwusi final funeral activities has already been fixed for Friday April 22nd and Saturday 23rd this year by the family.
The late Olori Mariani Ogunwusi, a devoted Christian was also survived by eleven other successful grandchildren including London based
Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi,  a Lekki based real estate magnate Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi, Princess Folasade Ogunwusi Fadairo, Princess Adesola Ogunwusi Olojede, Princess Foluso Ogunwusi Kolawole, Princess Adebimpe Ogunwusi Daodu, Princess Lola Ogunwusi Oyeyipo, Princess Adebambo Ogunwusi Osunkoya, Princess Bunmi Ogunwusi, Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Olorunfemi and Princess Toyin Ogunwusi.
