Founder of One Love family, Satguru Maharaj Ji on Saturday said only the screening of ministerial nominees carried out by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) through their past records will only be tenable to Nigerians as the new ministers are set to take portfolios
Speaking at a press conference in Ibadan, Sat Guru Maharaji said the ongoing screening of the Ministers nominees by the Nigerian Senate is mockery of integrity,
“Now, there are new people who have been nominated for the ministerial positions in Nigeria I don’t believe in the screening as we’re having it but the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) must go after them first, while the second screening must go through EFCC and ICPC to know where they come from, their records and their past.” he said.
He stressed at the press conference to mark 39 years anniversary of his arrival on the shores of Nigeria, held at the Satguru Maharaj Ji village, Kilometre 10, Ibadan/Lagos expressway, that the only way that Nigeria could get
out of its present challenges of insecurity is to establish state police, saying, no governor can monopolise them for his selfish agenda.
“For peace to reign in our land, we must establish State Police. No governor can use it against his own people as being feared by the people. State police no doubt will check in no small measure the security challenges facing the country at the grassroots.” he said

don’t want the likes of el-Rufai who will talk to elders anyhow, we need people who are sincere, honest and has respect for elders.
