Ondo NSCDC Parades Fraudsters

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ondo State on Wednesday paraded suspected hoodlums that specialise in  bunkering, Advanced fraud and job racketeering across the state.

Addressing Journalists in Akure, the NSCDC Sector Commander, Mr. Awili Pedro disclosed that 50 trucks of adulterated Kerosene were recovered in Agadagba, in the riverine area of the state while making efforts to transport the commodity to neighbouring states.
According to him, while his men were acting on a tip off, quick intervention and investigation led to the arrest of three suspects, names withheld as he promised that others
at large will soon be arrested and charged to court.
The Sector Commander also disclosed how the counter terrorism Unit of his Command had succeeded in arresting the owner of a shrine, Owoseni Owokoto which is been used to defraud unsuspecting victims of their valuables under the pretext of either assisting them in securing jobs or travelling documents such as visa.
Those arrested in connection with the false promise of rendering one assistance or the other were one Ademola Kola, the Chief Executive Officer of Film and records productions who lives at Surulere area of Ondo town, Ondo West local government.
Also, a Prophet, Adeniyi Abiodun of C. A. C Freedom city was said to had obtained N1.7 million from one Mama Ireti with a promise to help her son secure visa to the United States of America since February, 2018.
Another woman, madam Folasade Olukinni claimed that Ademola Kolawole got N4.2 million from her in other to liberate her son from evil spiritual that had been tormenting her son since early this year.
Luck how ever ran out of Abiodun, according to the NSCDC Sector Commander when complaints were lodged from various Youths claiming that the Prophet promised to secure Immigration jobs for them for various charges ranging from between N4 million to N5 million.
How ever, both Ademola Kolawole and Abiodun claimed innocent of those allegations levelled against them even though Abiodun affirmed the fact that he got just N250,000 from an individual whose name he refused to mention.
Sector Commander Pedro how ever vowed to rid the state of criminals following the directive of the Controller General who ordered zero tolerance in all the states of the Federation.
