A chieftain of the Labour Party (LP)  Stephen Kunle Adeyeri has commiserated with Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, over the death of his mother,  Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde had  announced, at the early hours of Thursday, the passing of Grace Akeredolu in a  statement.

However, Adeyeri who extended condolences to the governor in a statement issued to journalists in Abuja, urged him to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a good life during which she contributed immensely to the course of humanity.

According to him, the party Chieftain described Lady Evangelist Akeredolu as a  model of chastity who dedicated her life to the service of mankind through her immeasurable benevolence to the downtrodden.

Adeyeri said, “On behalf of my family, I mourn the exit of our Governor’s mother who passed away at 90”

“The news of her passing came this morning as a shock because Mama was still hale and hearty, hence no one suspected death lurking”

“Though Mama joined the Saints at an advanced age (90), her children, relatives and acquaintances will miss her greatly”

“Undoubtedly, Mama was an accomplished mother with tremendous and unsurpassable impacts, owing to the incontrovertible fact that she had used her Godly wisdom to ensure the success of her sons and daughters, most especially our very own Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu”

“Death, everyone is aware, is an indispensable end for all. My prayer is that Mama’s soul shall continue to reside in the bosom of her Maker”
