Ondo Guber; As Akeredolu Wins, PDP Accuses INEC of Rigging

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Agent, Mr. Ayo Fadaka has acuses the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of colluduing with the All Progressive Congress, APC to rig the Ondo guber election while his counterpart in APC, Brr. Benson Enikuomehin commended INEC for a job weldone
The All Progressive Congress (APC), candidate, Chief Rptimi Akeredolu emmerged the Governorship winner with 244, 842 votes against odds of those who never wanted him even within the top heirachy of the party.
He was followed by the PDP candidate, Barr. Eyitayo Jegede with 150, 380 votes, Chief Olusola Oke of AD polled 126, 889 while Dr. Olu Agunloye of SDP scored 10,147 votes.
The Returning Officer, Prof. Abduganiyu Ambali, the Vice Chancellor of Universityof Ilorin declared the result after the collation from the 18 local governments.
The SDP candidate, Dr. Olu Agunloye who came forth in the election, in a text meassage he sent to our reporter said, “God’s time is the best”.
Supporters of APC took to Oba Adesida street and other major streets in Akure celebrating the victory of their candidate, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu.
Meanwhile, the former Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Alhaji Ali Olanusi attributed the victory to the contributions of those people that decamped from the PDP to APC.
The situation was peaceful after the announcement of the result as commercial activities were going on across the major towns in Ondo state
