The City Track Magazine, a community based News Magazine has honoured the Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi with the the Personality Of The Year 2017 award.
Otunba Akinyemi, a former football coach who was acompanied by his wife, Yeye Otunba Taye Akinyemi was presented with Owo Kingdom Ambassador Award as the Most Distinguished Personality of the Year during the celebration of City Track Magazine 10th anniversary.
While expressing his appreciation, Akinyemi who received the award at the well attended and colourful event held at Imade College, Owo on Boxing Day, vowed to continue helping the Youths in their quest to find fulfilment in life.
“I am very happy to be the recipient of this great honour and it will motivate me to do more for the youth here”.
He however recalled how he had facilitated transfers of players to the Bundesliga, Nowergian League, Sweden, Denmark.
“Of course I am willing to even contribute more to help our youth now and in the future,” he assured.
The honour was bestowed on the long time FIFA licensed agent in recognition of his contributions to sports and youth deelopment in Owo Kingdom and beyond.
