OIC condemns Maiduguri, Madagali suicide attacks

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the two terrorist attacks in Maiduguri on 11 December, and Madagali on 9 December, 2016 in Adamawa State, killing at least 44 civilians and injuring over 33 others.
The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and Government of Nigeria, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
A statement by Ms Maha Akeel, Director Information OIC General Secretariat, Jeddah said the Secretary General reaffirmed the OIC’s commitment to continue to support the efforts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in its war against terrorism and violent extremism, underscoring the OIC’s firm position that condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
