OGHA assures of more synergy with the executive

Ogun State House of Assembly said it remained committed to collaborating with the executive arm of government towards ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the State.
The Legislators made this known in Abeokuta during a plenary session presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi in commemoration of the first anniversary of the eight legislature in the State
While expressing gratitude to their constituencies for the confidence reposed in them, the lawmakers promised their loyalty to the present administration to continually complement its efforts at rebuilding the State.
The Legislators lauded efforts of the Government to move the State forward despite the national economic  down turn, just as they also enjoined the people to cooperate with the Government to complete all on-going projects, while they initiate new ones in their various constituencies across the State.
According to the lawmakers, all mechanism had been set in motion to ensure that relevant legislations and support needed by the executive arm were put in place by the eight Assembly to move the State forward.
While commending the leadership style of the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun especially the promotion of mutual interdependence of all arms of government in the state, the lawmakers equally appreciated the Speaker for maintaining peace and stability of the Assembly during the period.
In his closing remarks, Rt. Hon. Adekunbi assured the people of the State of the Legislators readiness to continue to pay attention and give priority to the demands of the various constituencies with a view to promoting even development in all parts of the State.
