The Director General of Abasi Ubok Abasi Campaign Organisation, Pastor Sunny Ibuot has said that Senator Bassey Akpan, a.k.a OBA represents the hope for the actualisation of a new and refreshing vision for Akwa Ibom state.
Ibuot stated this while addressing the press after he led a delegation of Abasi Ubok Abasi Campaign Organisation to obtain the expression of interest and the PDP governorship nomination forms for Senator Akpan, a forefront 2023 governorship aspirant in Akwa Ibom state.
He said that among the other aspirants for the office of governor, Senator Akpan has the best credentials and the experience to redeem the youth from the current state of hunger and poverty.
Ibuot enumerated OBA’s programme focus to include human capital development, revival of the local economy and education, with emphasis on skill acquisition.
The campaign DG told journalists that Senator Akpan bought his Nomination Form despite desperate attempts and intrigues by “some mischievous persons” to block him from buying the form.
Akwa Ubok Abasi Campaign Organisation, is the 2023 political platform for the actualisation of Senator Akpan governorship aspiration.
The team, comprises of Sir Emem Akpabio, the Chairman of Campaign Council; Arch-Bishop Andrew Unwanta, Chairman of Strategy Committee; Ikpoto Okon Osung, the Deputy Chairman, Strategy Committee, among others, got the form at Wadata House, Abuja.
