Team Kaduna came out of its shell and put up a brilliant performance on Saturday as the ongoing National Youth Games (NYG) progressed on Saturday.
The winning streak started with a well deserved gold medal in doubles golf event.
The duo of Ahmed Bawa and Abubakar Yahaya of Team Kaduna won the gold medal in Golf stableford competition, placing their State on the medals table.
In the Scrabble event, Aliyu idris with 313 points from Kaduna in the seventh round against King Egwungwu (Rivers who scored )383 points.
In eight round Aliyu idris won by 362 points against Halifa Bello with 290 points.
In round nine, Aliyu won 317 points against Victor Chiemuery from Ebonyi with 260 points.
In round 10, Aliyu idris scored 323 points while Raji uthman from Oyo scored 314.
At end of round ten Aliyu won 6 rounds out of ten.
In weightlifting, Precious Asadu of Kaduna finished 4th position in 49kg.
