*4 others in 3 LGs

Governor Seyi Makinde on Thursday hinted that another 15 workers of the Ibadan South West organization have tested positive to CoronaVirus bringing the number so far recorded there to 76.
Engineer Makinde in a Tweet message he posted on his Tweeter handle also stated that 4 new COVID-19 positive cases were recorded from 3 local government areas in the state.
The governor stressed that the new cases were recorded as follows 15 from iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West Local Government Area (LGA), 2 are from Ido LGA, 1 more person from Ibadan South West LGA and 1 from Ibadan South East LGA”.
According to Governor Makinde, presently , the total number of confirmed CoronaVirus positive cases in Oyo State is 162.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for nineteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Fifteen are from iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West LGA, 2 are from Ido LGA and 1 is from Ibadan South East LGA. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 162.” he said.
The governor then urged the people of Oyo state to call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800, if they find travellers from other states arriving in your community”.
