*Commandant says suspects, accomplices at large

The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Friday, sealed off a production site in Ibadan with over 2,500 litres of suspected adulterated Automated Transmission Fluid (ATF), one plastic container of suspected adulterated grease oil, metal drums used for storage, impounded.
Briefing journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State NSCDC Commandant, Dr Michael Akintayo Adaralewa said the production site was sealed off by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad and the Oyo State NSCDC command.
Specifically, Dr Adaralewa charged Nigerians to be vigilant of the kind of lubricant and other fluid they use in their vehicles and production machines.
Dr Adaralewa while parading the suspects at the production site in Gbekuba Ido Local Government area of Oyo State, gave the name of the suspects as Patrick Umeakuana, Adegoke Sunday.
The state commandant stressed that all the impounded items would be taken to a relevant agency for elaborate laboratory analysis.
Dr. Adaralewa maintained that the two arrested suspects and their accomplices now at large will be charged to a competent court of law within the jurisdiction after the conclusion of the investigation.
The state commandant then enjoined the people of Oyo State and Nigeria to support the command in exposing other criminals involved in these act and it will serve as a deterrent to other mischievous elements in our society.
