The Concerned Northern All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Forum and other groups have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint Engr David Nweze Umahi as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
Speaking to journalists alongside leaders of other youth groups, the Chairman of the Concerned Northern APC Youth Forum, Hon. Suleiman Liba said that for the purpose of justice and equity, that it is only logical for the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to come from the South Eastern zone of the country .
They said that from that region, there is a man whom the cap fits the most and it is no other than Engr David Nweze Umahi.
According to Hon. Liba, Engr Umahi does not only serve the interest of the South Eastern people, but he’s also equipped with the requisite credentials to deliver effectively on the mandate.
” We trust on Mr President to do the needful, as his track records show that he is a man who believes in the concept of justice and equity,” they said.
They said Engr David Nweze Umahi has also contributed immensely to the growth and development of Nigeria, and his numerous contributions to the political and economic development of the nation are numerous.
