The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Academy Commandant, Mr.Ayo Peter Olowonihi has visited the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, on a fact finding mission.
A statement issued from the public relationship office of the Institute said they are in the institute to access the possibility of training their drivers at the institute.
Olowonihi, who was received on arrival on behalf of the Director General/Cheif Executive NITT, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, by the Director, Training, Dr. Danjuma Ismailia.
The Commandant said the visit was undertaken at the instance of the Chairman of the Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, who was informed by the Minister, “that NITT has the facility and manpower to train EFCC Drivers.
He expressed satisfaction with NITT’s professionalism, and no one would have known that NITT is this great.
In his remark, Dr. Danjuma Ismaila appreciate the EFCC Team for finding time to visit the Institute.
He explained that NITT has existed for over 35 years as a multimodal transport training and research development Institute.
“NITT also provides corporate leadership and strategic training; offers advisory services; engages in Intelligent Transport System (ITS), Monitoring activities, Consultancy Services and adapts transport technology to suit local needs amongst other things, Dr. Danjuma added.
Dr. Danjuma assured that NITT would give quality training to the EFCC drivers should the proposal become a reality.
