The management of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has said that it did not advertise for any ongoing staff recruitment in the organization.
NRC therefore advised the general public to ignore the advertisement that is claiming that it is recruiting workers.
“The attention of the board and management of the NRC has been drawn to an online recruitment portal purportedly advertising recruitment exercise by the NRC which is circulating widely on various social media platforms inviting the general public particularly job seekers to apply for employment at NRC.
“The general public is hereby invited to note that the advert is completely unfounded.
“NRC hereby refutes that fictitious publication designed and orchestrated by scammers and fraudsters to defraud unsuspecting applicants, as there is no recruitment exercise in NRC at the moment,” Yakub Mahmood, the Corporation’s spokesman clarified in a news release made available on Wednesday 22nd September 2021.
NRC, therefore, advised the general public, especially prospective applicants, to disregard the fake news on NRC recruitment exercise.
