Nigerian Military School  Growing Stronger – NDA Commandant

The Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Major General Ibrahim Manu Yusuf has said that the Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria  is growing stronger all year round since its inception. 


He stated this at the Oath Taking and Beating of the  Retreat ceremony of the Passing Out Boys held at the RSM  Zakari Yamusa Kumasi Parade Ground. 


General Yusuf who was the Special Guest of honour, urged the boys to keep the Flag flying and to remain good ambassadors of the school by displaying discipline and loyalty to the constituted authorities. 


According to him, NMS has maintained it’s high training profile and total commitment to the both military and academic excellence. 


The Special Guest of Honour reminded the boys of the oath that the allegiance they took is to obey and discharge their duty in the Nigerian Army, following their enlistment. 


While reminding them that Nigerian Army has spent a lot on quality professionalism training, he urged them to put Nigeria first in all they are doing. 


“Beating of the Retreat is a long activities which signal the end of the year success and the victory over enemies.”


General Ibrahim Manu Yusuf assured the NMS of the support from the Nigerian Army Headquarters. 


During the ceremony, prizes and awards were distributed to the deserving staff, boys companies and special guests.
