Nigerian Army assures of preparedness to tackle security challenges

Nigerian Army will continue to sustain its training activities and schedules in ensuring the graduatess of Depot Nigerian Army were prepared to confront the security challenges in our country.
The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai stated this at the passing out parade of the 74th regular recruit intake held at the Depot Nigerian Army Parade ground weekend.
Represented by the Chief of Army Administration, Major General A.B Abubakar, he said the Nigerian Army have prepared the graduating recruits very well in various disciplines according to the constitution of Nigeria.
According to him, Depot NA has improved on all aspects of its oriented training as reported on the fighting spirit the Depot products are displaying at the ongoing fight against Book Haram in the north east.
Buratai said Depot NA remain the best among contemporaries within and outside the country. With the development, he assured of his total support in the improvement of standard training and welfare of the Nigerian Army and staff of Depot NA.
On the security challenges, the  COAS said it will soon become history and all hands are on deck to finally defeat Boko Haram and other criminal elements for peace and tranquility of our great nation.
He said the joint military training conducted with British military team is aimed to organized modern training to ensure the contemporary training method, introduction of awareness training, and survival skills and make them stronghold to be reckoned with.
The Depot NA remains pivotal for the production of personnel for the Nigerian Army for the transformation of able, young men and women from civilians to combatants soldiers capable of defending our territorial integrity from all threat.
A total of 3, 934 recruits passed out at the event.
