Nigeria Plays Tunisia On Day 1 Of Africa Women Junior Handball Championship

Nigeria began its campaign of the Africa Junior Women Handball Championship as they played North Africa giants, Tunisia on Saturday.
The national Under 20 Female Handball team had a training session in Conakry, Guinea under the watchful eyes of Coach Bukola Duru on Friday with so much vigor and the players say they are ready to represent Nigeria well.
“Tunisia is a tough country to play when it comes to Africa handball but we are prepared for them and we will ensure we do not make mistakes” Coach Bukola Duru said
Nigeria played Tunisia at 1pm local time (2pm Nigeria time) and were hopeful of starting on a winning note with the focus being to qualify for the 2022 IHF Women’s Junior (U20) World Championship in Slovenia.
