President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and Chancellor, Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan, Bishop Francis Wale Oke has declared that Nigeria need  restructuring  and reengineering .

The PFN President stated this while speaking at the first graduation ceremony of the International Leadership School (ILS), as part of the ongoing 40th anniversary of the Holy Ghost Convention of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Ibadan, at the weekend.

Bishop Oke emphasized that Nigeria as a country urgently is in need of re-engineering considering the fact that ” it is going down the drain in all sectors including education, economy, commerce and health”.

He stressed further that it is also the time for the  government to reorientate Nigerians for the country to take a new direction towards her quest for greatness.

According to Bishop Oke, ” billions

of Naira are deployed into politics, yet government cannot deploy money into giving sound education to our children who are the future and the strength of this nation”.

Lamenting that so much money is circulating among politicians while the government is unable to pay striking university lecturers,  Bishop Oke tasked the graduands that their graduation marks a new beginning of productivity, impact, and putting smiles on the faces of the people.

He them tasked them to be leaders that will make a difference in their coast of influence; locally, nationally and globally, saying, ” you must make up your mind to be agents of light and agents of stamping out the moral decadence that is threatening to swallow Nigeria,” .

The  Bishop Theologian of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and former Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Prof. Dapo Asaju while speaking disclosed that if Nigeria is going to move forward, the church must provide credible leadership.

Citing Apostle Paul in the Bible as a perfect role model of a credible leader described the leadership in the church as being peculiar.

Prof Asaju who is also a lecturer in the International Leadership School tasked the graduands to put the knowledge they have acquired to good use.

“Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive His approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed, and who correctly explains the Word of Truth. All Christians need to go back to the truth of the Bible and shun engagements with needless arguments or supporting ungodly lifestyles like homosexual, gays, lesbians, and the likes,” he said.
