NGO empowers Widows, less privileged,

Gifts worth thousands of naira were presented to widows, the less privileged and orphans by  aNon-Governmental Organization; Tally Widows Forum, (TWF).
The gifts presented are warm cloths, grinding machines and other items to be distributed among them.
The Forum doles out the gifts during a love feast celebration organized to mark its 5th anniversary in Kaduna.
The donation is an annual gesture and this year’s celebration did not only had widows and orphans in attendance, but  also destitute from Kano and Ibrahim Taiwo roads, within in Kaduna metropolis.
Speaking during the celebration, the Coordinator of the TWF  Mrs. Nancy Talatu Harry said the Forum was established in October, 2011, and now marks the 5th anniversary.
The coordinator, while soliciting for the Kaduna State Government and well meaning Nigerians for partnership in order to make life more meaningful for these people, noted that the task is enormous, and too much for the government let alone an individual.
“These people are our brothers and sisters, we are all created by one God, let us give them a sense of belonging and by so doing, make this world a better place for everyone”.
According to her, they need shelter, food, healthcare, clothing and education for their children; hence, the need to lend them a helping hand.
