Sensational up and coming Afro-Pop artist, Abiola Sultan Olawamiwa, popularly known as Khalifat GMI has hit the music industry with an explosive first Extended Play Record (EP) titled ‘Ride or Die’.
The talented singer who is presently processing an admission into university, just officially dropped the five track EP on the online media about a month ago and also bracing up to put out more singles before the year runs out.
The EP which consist of five tracks namely: Tidara, Crazy, Steady love, Open your door and Banger is doing very well on the airwave, but the hit song, ‘Steady love’ which is a love song is hoped will further strengthen the astronomical fan base of Khalifat GMI who is fast warming his way into the hearts of young folks.
Ride or Die, according to the Dad of the young artist, Alh Abdulsalam Abiola Luqman who still acts as his manager was produced by some ace music producers in town, Timmy Y the magic finger and Dre-man
Khalifat GMI who started his journey into the music world about a year ago, described Davido and BNXN Fka Buju as his music idols and role-models in the music industry.
The handsome young artiste has been described by musical pundits as a ‘bundle of talents’ whose prowess can swiftly envelope Africa with adequate hard work and efficient artiste management.
“In the next five years with the special grace of God, I see myself finishing my education and doing well musically by going on tours and hopefully I want to start a foundation for kids which will help them showcase their talents”, Khalifat opined.
