New Kaduna CP Visits el-Rufai, Vows To Eliminate Criminality

The new Commissioner of Police Kaduna Command, CP Yekini Ayuko psc (+), mni on Thursday, paid an official familiarization visit to his Excellency, Governor Malam Nasir el-Rufai.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhammed Jalige, said that during the visit, he vowed to ensure sending criminals packing out of the state.
“The CP formerly announced his resumption of duty to his Excellency, following the directive of the Inspector General of Police posting him to the state. 
“This marks their first official meeting since the CP’s assumption of office,” the statement said.
The duo had a brief meeting and discussed crucial issues bordering on security and safety of lives and property of the people of the state.
The CP assured his Excellency of his resolve to work round the clock in collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure that violent crimes are reduced to the barest minimum. 
He also sought the cooperation of the state government and the good people of the state to enable him succeed in the fight against the men of the underworld, particularly; armed banditry, kidnapping and communal clashes in the state.
The Governor on his part, welcomed the new CP to Kaduna State and assured him of his readiness to avail him all the necessary support he requires in discharging his responsibility of securing lives and property of the good people of the state.
It would be recalled that CP Ayoku assumed duty as the 40th Commissioner of Police of Kaduna State on the  April 8, 2022 owing to the retirement of CP Mudassiru Abdullahi last month.
