NDE trains youth for self-reliance in Bauchi


National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Bauchi has commenced training of twenty five young school leavers on hard and soft environmental beautification training scheme in the state
The NDE state coordinator, Mohammed A. Jahun said at a one day orientation organized for the recruited youths that the essence of the programme is to empower the youths to become self-reliance and reduce youth restiveness in the society.
The coordinator explained that the youths will be train in batches of 25, adding that this is the first phase of the training in the state.
Jahun stated that the youths were drawn from different locations of the state to be train in areas such as; Interlock making, soft and hard tilling, landscaping, among others.
He called on wealthy individuals in the state to support the organization in the training and provision of capitals in the area of tools needed for the trainers to start up on their own.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Abdurrahman Bello said the programme remains remarkable in his life while he thanked the directorate and promise to give their maximum cooperation to their instructors in order to acquire the skills needed in the fields.
