The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) will hold its second Christian Pilgrimage Summit to brainstorm on matters of Christian Pilgrimage in Nigeria tomorrow in Abuja.
The Commission had its first Stakeholders meeting in 2014 where Christian leaders and stakeholders converged in Abuja to chart a new course for the survival of Christian pilgrimage in Nigeria and to harness the strength of Christian leaders to drive pilgrimage in Nigeria.
This year’s Stakeholders Summit has its theme: “The Role of the Church in the sustainability of Christian Pilgrimage in Nigeria” at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.
The Summit is aimed at bringing Church leaders, stakeholders, captains of industries, friends of the Commission, inter-alia to discuss the way forward for Christian pilgrimage in Nigeria in view of the dwindling economic situation of the country.
Also, the plan ‘Win A Trip To Israel’ whose agreement was signed just recently by the Commission will be brought to the front burner of the stakeholders, among other burning issues.
Speaker House of Representatives, Right Hon. Yakubu Dogara is expected to declare the Summit open while Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor is expected to the Father of the Day.
