NCMN Takes Advocacy To Orphanage, Donates Food Stuff, Clothes, Other Items To Inmates

In an effort to put smiles on their faces and enhance the living standard in the society in-line with its advocacy struggle strategy, the Northern Comrades Movement of Nigeria (NCMN), took a bold step in making sure orphans in communities benefit from its kind gesture.


During a surprise visit to the Al-Ihsan Baisuma Children Orphanage Home, Nasarawa Kaduna State on Saturday, the group donated foodstuff, clothse, and other valuable items to support the orphans lead better lives like every other child.


The Chairman (NCMN), Comrade Jabir Ibrahim Yaro, explained that the visitation to the orphanage home and less privileged communities is one part of the forum’s priority to make sure they put smiles on faces in the society d in-line with their advocacy struggle.


He said, “the visitation to orphanage homes annually in the month of October, is part of the forum’s activities and this is not the first time we are visiting that same home to render the little we can afford in supporting the children to feel loved, while we joke and play with them as part of us.


“(NCMN) is an NGO that does not get any support from any governmental organization, except from its members who are committed to serving humanity in their various capacities, and are always ready to take our advocacy struggle to eternity for a better society.”


Malam Jabir added that, the challenges being faced by most less privileged persons is becoming so alarming, most especially in the Northern region and it challenges every community on the need to show how relevant and important they are, because there are a lot of less privileged persons in communities that require attention.


The Chairman (NCMN), urged various individuals and government to focus more in improving the lives and living standards of the less privileged which in-turn, might have the tendency of reducing crime in the society, especially now that the North is experiences series of insurgency and insecurity.


While appreciating the kind gesture, the Head Caretaker of Al-Ihsan Baisuma Children Home, Firdausi Yusuf Muhammad, expressed gratitude over the kind gesture rendered in supporting the home for well-being of the orphans by the association.


She added that, orphanage homes are places that are always facing challenges of various types, particularly that of foodstuff, school fees, medications and clothes that always require attention.

She lamented that most people don’t come to their aid until when its Ramadan Fasting period.


She said, “it’s not all about what someone will be given as wealth, but rather, the spirit of putting smiles on the faces of the orphans, probably by just coming to have fun with the kids, taking them out, assisting them in other ways as barbing, hair dressing and other activities that could make their day.”


The Head Caretaker thanked the leadership of (NCMN) for the constant visitation and support towards the orphanage home and the children, while praying for its success in achieving desired goals targeted at ensuring a greater society.
