NAYES To Add Value To System – Almakura

Nasarawa State Government has reiterated its resolve towards enhancing the capacity of youths in the state.

His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura disclosed this during a meeting with  the leadership and management of NAYES on Wednesday in Lafia.
Governor Almakura enjoined them to be on the same page as regards to the responsibility of NAYES and to ensure they remain true to the founding vision for which it was conceived.

He reminded them of the rationale behind NAYES creation, such as to provide engagement for people who are motivated, educated, and who are ready to add value to the system; as well as  adding value to the quality of life in Nasarawa thereby easing governance ,  reduced restiveness and unemployment.

Governor Almakura called for effective delivery of the the four (4) different sectors that make up NAYES  stating that if they could be properly effected NAYES would be second to non it Nigeria.

He made a case for constant enlightenment, sensitization and reorientation of NAYES, describing it as one of the most critical outfits the administration has done.
He tasked them (leaders) to ensure that NAYES is taken seriously by all and are committed to their duties and work diligently.
He reminded them that NAYES should be seen as  a home grown civil correcting agency  as well as a reserve for any openings in the any of the security forces.

He said that he would have an eye on NAYES to ensure it  was ready to stand up to the challenges  it was created for and ensuring a sanitized society .

Responding, the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Bamaiyi Anagba  assured the Governor that  they would ensure that the ethics  of the scheme would be duly practiced to ensure the state had the best.
