All roads lead to Benin City, Edo State as the National Division One Handball League will commence from today.
Several teams are already in town to play for promotion into the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2022.
Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Nigeria Alhaji Maigidansanma Mohammed in a statement, said that a technical meeting will hold at the Media Center of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin at 5pm and all the officials of the participating teams are expected to be present.
According to Alhaji Maigidansanma Mohammed, there would a draw of the participating teams and it will be an opportunity for the the officials to be abreast with the rules guiding the Division One League.
Alhaji Maigidansanma reiterated that this National Division One League is the 2021 edition and as such TEAMS RELEGATED IN 2020 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2021 edition.
The winners in the Male and Female Categories of the National Division One Handball League will automatically get promotional ticket to be part of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier during the first phase in May this year.
