Governor Abdullahi A. Sule has approved the recruitment of additional healthcare personnel to boost the health sector in the state.
A statement from government house Lafia on Saturday, said the state government will recruit 30 medical doctors, 15 pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians and 70 nurses.
The governor also gave approval for the recruitment of 50 additional medical laboratory technicians, 35 health and information management officers, 40 health assistants and 6 radiographers.
The statement added that the move is aimed at improving service delivery to residents from the various state owned healthcare facilities across the state.
