Nasarawa Farmers’ Association Gets New Leadership

A new leadership of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Nasarawa State Chapter has been sworn-in to pilot the affairs of the association for a period of five years. 

The swearing-in ceremony which  was held on Friday in Lafia has an Abuja-based businessman, Chief Isaac Kigbu as chairman. 

Others include, Alhassan Usaini, Secretary-General; Salishu Z. Ahmed and Shammah John, Vice Chairmen; Saidu Usman Osheka, Financial Secretary; Evelyn Samuel Kytiga, Treasurer; Barrister Alaku Dennis Dauda, Publicity Secretary; Sale Yahaya Alaji, Organizing Secretary and Barrister Ayiwulu Baba Ayiwulu as the Legal Adviser of the association. 

Inaugurated as Auditor of the association, was Bashir Mohammed Umar; Aku Angbashim, Assistant Secretary-General and Rabiu Ribi Yakubu, Assistant Financial Secretary and Halidu A. Sani and Jonathan Joshua as ex-officio. 

As Zonal Coordinators, Buba Mubi (West), Christopher Abimiku (South) and Salisu Adamu (North) were inaugurated while Fatima Adah Aliyu (South), Edith Dauda (North) and Hajiya Jummai Abdullahi (West) were to serve as Zonal Women Coordinators and Sunday Akwayi Danladi (South), Joseph Lagi (North) and Engr. Ahmed T. Usman (West) as Zonal Youth Leaders. 

The oath was administered by Barrister Jonathan Andzayi Jabez.
