The Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) has commended Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for releasing funds for the renovation of Local Government Chairmen’ offices across the state.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government Affairs, Mohammed Alkali, made this known while on inspection visit to the Secretariat of Kokona Local Government Council in Garaku.
He commended the Chairman, Awalu Adamu for doing a wonderful job; calling on other chairmen to emulate him.
Alkali enjoined the chairmen to ensure quality work on the ongoing renovation of their offices in order to leave a lasting legacy and for the overall development of their council areas.
He was accompanied by a member of the Committee and the Deputy Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi.
The Alkali-led committee assured of effective collaboration to engender development at the grassroots.
