*Says the senatorial seat belongs to APC

Following the resignation of the former Senator that represented Ebonyi South Senatorial zone, sen.David Umahi from National Assembly and subsequent appointment as minister of Works, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Ebonyi State, Mr. Stanley Okoroemegha has said that the party is ready to file a credible and popular candidate that will win and replace Umahi in the next by-election in Ebonyi South Senatorial zone.
Chief Emegha who stated this while addressing newsmen in Abakaliki, claimed that the Senatorial position belongs to APC , and the party will use an influential candidate that is acceptable to the people to win the election since the electorate will not be forced to vote against their will.
According him, the party is waiting for INEC to fix a date for the by-election for the Ebonyi South senatorial position.
`By-Election is coming up here for the senatorial position, we are waiting for INEC declaration to enable us do the needful.And my party will file a credible candidate, and by all standard,my party will win that election because that seat belongs to APC.There is no seat that has been won by APC before, that I will allow to go to opposition.
