Ayade described the award as a morale booster, adding that it would spur him to work harder for the realisation of his Signature Projects and other laudable programmes.
He said “I am excited and humbled for this award, especially as it is my first award by any organization since my assumption of office. I assure you that I will work with the media for the full realisation of our collective dream of making Cross River the most Industrialised and economically viable state in Nigeria, he said”.
