Oyo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin has promised that his administration will be highly committed to qualitative education for all in and across the state.
Speaking at the commissioning and handing over of a fully -furnished 36-block of classrooms with 20 toilets, solar-powered boreholes and solar lights at Elekuro Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, at Abonde, in the Ona-Ara Local Government area of the state, the APC governorship candidate said his administration believes in qualitative and not quantitative education, without substance.
Senator Folarin stressed that as far as he will be concerned, his administration will be passionate and committed to providing a serene environment for students to acquire sound education in their pursuit for academic excellence and research for information and, by extension, improve teaching methods.
He emphasized that as part of his commitment towards providing qualitative education for all, he had facilitated 17 ICT Centres and 88 fully-furnished classrooms across public schools in his district, plus a MacArthur ICT and Communication Centre at the University of Ibadan, within 3 years.
Senator Folarin however tasked the beneficiary school managements to maintain the facilities, and look for ways to sustain them.
The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District also handed over another 4 ICT Centres to beneficiary secondary schools, including Ilora Baptist High School, Ilora (Afijio LGA); Ladigbolu Grammar School, Ladigbolu (Oyo West LGA); Sasa Community High School, Sasa (Akinyele LGA); and Community High School, Isebo (Egbeda LGA) of Oyo Central with the ICT Centres equipped with Mikano generators, projectors, printers, photocopiers, inverter batteries and internet subscription for a year, among others.

Senator Folarin for his qualitative representation and for facilitating masses-oriented projects to the Senatorial District.
“Senator Folarin has repeatedly proven himself to be an education-friendly lawmaker. We are also appealing to the good people of Oyo State to vote massively for him”, he said.
The Principal, Community Grammar School, Sasa in Akinyele LGA, Mrs Fafioye, represented by Mr. O. J. Olalere in her remarks thanked Senator Folarin for the kindhearted gesture, pledging the readiness of the school to maximize the centre for its intended purpose.
