Muaythai Federation Of Nigeria Assures Of Glory At African Mini-Championship

Muaythai Federation of Nigeria (MFN), has pledged to do the country proud when the forthcoming African Muaythai Mini-Champonship billed for Côte d’voire between,October 13 and 18 gets under way.
According to the federation’s President, Paul Egonu, the 2nd event is  in November, in Egypt.’With both events scoring for 20 points on the qualification rankings of,TWG, 2022 to gold medal winners of all TWG divisions.
‘This will be followed by the  2021 IFMA Youth & Senior World Championships to be held from December  4 and12 .

“This year’s World Championships will include the Combat Annual Sports Forum which includes cultural exchange activities, sport conferences and of course the main World Games in Birmingham”.

He said that all gold & silver medallists will be directly qualified to be one of the representatives in  December 2021 in Phuket, Thailand under the theme “Celebrating the Five Rings.


He further stressed that the 2021, World Championships is listed as an official qualification event for the highly anticipated 2022 event.

He noted plans are on to ensure Nigeria does not only make it to these tournaments, but also give good account at the end of it all.

After which he appealed on Nigerians and corporate bodies to support the federation to bring glory to the country.
