Scale Up Operations To  Rid AOR Of  Terrorist Activities, MNJTF Commander Tasks Sector 3

The Force Commander of the Multi-national Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali has asked the newly appointed acting Commander of Sector 3, Brigadier General Maxwell Dangana to adopt a populations-centric approach in his operations.

General Sallau who emphasized the need for for quality leadership disclosed this while hosting the Sector 3 Commander who was on an operation visit to the MNJTF at its headquarters in Ndjamena, Chad Republic.

“I want to emphasize the need for quality leadership and urge Brig Gen Dangana to provide exemplary guidance to his subordinates. It is important to scale up operations to get rid of your area of responsibility (AOR) from the remnants of terrorist activities”

“The appointment of Brig Gen Dangana as the new Commander Sector 3 signifies the commitment of the MNJTF to intensify efforts in securing the region and eradicating the menace of terrorism. Sector 3 covers a significant portion of the MNJTF operational area, you are expected to enhance the effectiveness of operations and improve coordination among the sectors” he said.

In response, Brig Gen Maxwell Dangana, who was appointed recently stated that his visit was to formally introduce himself and receive further directives for his new role. His visit serves as an opportunity for him to familiarize himself with the Headquarters and its operations.

He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received from the MNJTF leadership and affirmed his commitment to leading by example. He assured the Force Commander that he would work tirelessly to fulfill his responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the MNJTF mandate.
