Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina Sate has described the murder of his Commissioner in charge of Science, Technology and Innovation, late Dr. Rabe Nasir as c allous and visibly shaken.
Governor Bello Masari expressed this in a statement by his Director General (DG) Media, Alhaji Abdu Labaran Malumfashi expressed deep sorrow at the brutal murder of the late Commissioner Dr. Rabe Nasir.
According to him late Dr. Nasir, whose lifeless body was found in the toilet of his home, located at the Fatima Shema Housing Estate in Katsina metropolis was hacked to death by suspected assassins.
” It was unfortunate that a life so promising was cut short by the dagger of assassins, the government will do everything possible to capture and punish accordingly, those responsible for the dastardly act,”Governor Aminu Bello Masari assured.
He said it was so tragic that such young life would be cut abruptly, described the deceased as diligent, dedicated, hard working and loyal person who never failed in any assignment given to him.
Pointing out that, the Commissioner’s death was a great loss to Katsina State.
Governor Masari While consoling the deceased immediate family, including a wife, children, an aged mother and several siblings urged them to take solace in the fact that, in addition to the inevitability of death on every living soul, Dr. Nasir has lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation despite his relatively young age. ##
