Manual Labourers To Get Uniform – VP

National Association of Labourers, Loaders, off loaders and porters will soon introduce uniformed dress code for their members operating in Markets and stations nationwide.
           
Vice President of the association in-charge of the North-West, Alhaji Rabi’u Danhajiya Dandume disclosed this during the Katsina Chapter of the association’s monthly meeting in Kankara local government area of the state.
           
Alhaji Danhajiya Dandume also disclosed that the National body of the association would also provide identification cards to make their job more prosporous and attractive.
           
Alhaji Dandume who is also the Chairman of the Katsina State Chapter of the Association urged members to be law abiding citizens and exhibit confidence as well as trust in handling their work.
           
He expressed the association’s readiness to support the present administration at all levels to source revenue more especially in the markets through their physical strength.
           
He charged members of the association to desist from being extravagance and utilized their day-to-day gains to look after the welfare of their respective family.
           
Also speaking during the meeting the Head of Department Mass Communication of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic Malam Bishir Usman Ruwan Godiya stressed the importance of labourers in the development of the society.
           
Malam Ruwan Godiya emphasized that every segment of the society depended heavily on the services of labourers to survive.
           
Earlier, Chairman of the association in Kankara local government, Aliyu Umar charged members to respect rules of law in discharging their duties.
