Mama Ijo, Alice Alagbe Passes On, Buried

The death has occurred of  Alice Oyinlola Alagbe, who slept died on Sunday April 24, 2022,  aged 75.
Ma Alice Alagbe was born into the family of late Pa Daniel Alagbe and late Monilola of Ladana Compound in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
She finished her primary school in 1955 in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The deceased left Ogbomoso in 1960 to live with one of her family members in Minna, Niger State.
She relocated to Ilorin, Kwara State to stay with her Aunt, where she also spent few years and then went back to Ogbomoso.
She was married to late Pa Popoola and her marriage was blessed with three children, Deborah Nike Adedoja, Rebecca Alabi and late Olawale Popoola.
After the death of her husband, she moved to Yauri in Kebbi State, one of the smallest historical Emirates in Northern Nigeria, where she’s popularly known to be a bread seller.
Ma Alice was an industrious woman, she was prosperous and everyone loved her for her honesty, diligence, care and love towards everyone in her neighbourhood.
Late Alice left Yauri for Kaduna in 2015 to spend the rest of her life with her daughter and grandchildren.
Ma Alice was not only a mother to her children and grandchildren, she was a mother to all, she loved little children and was popularly known as “Mama Ijo”.
Late Alice was buried on Thursday May 5, 2022 according to Christians rites. 
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
