The Commandant of the Arm Forces and Staff College Jaji, Air Vice Marshal Suleiman Sambo has said a major restructuring is ongoing in the curriculum of the nation’s armed forces.
He said this is important because of the recent attacks in the country’s delta region and it is coming at a time Nigeria is not just battling insurgency in its north, but militancy in its delta region.
“This session is designed to equip them with expertise on successful operational design, conduct and management”.
He also said “Exercise Sea Lion” is training with a difference in the college in order to train the officers and men for battle ready at all time.
“Authorities at the college say it is not their primary role to quell enraged militants in the delta”.
